GoPro and jumping sticks

I've been neglecting my GroPro for awhile and have not posted a new riding video since my cross country one last year, so I thought I would play around with it in the indoor arena. I have not been jumping as much this summer, so here we are playing around over some smaller fences!

Why I have the best horse in the world.

She certainly never made it easy and in many ways she was the wrong type of horse for me. I thought I was a reasonably good rider, but really, I knew little after riding only school horses.  Ever heard the saying "green + green = black and blue, " well it holds true in our…

Horses are my therapy.

February 10, 2015September 27, 2019Categories Equestrian5 Comments on Horses are my therapy.

I recently watched a video of a para-dressage rider who is wheelchair bound but through horses she competes at the highest levels of para-dressage. What stuck with me is the incredible power of the horse. I explained why I skydive, but its time for why I horseback ride. Horses are calming. When I think of…

Reverse bucket list.

October 6, 2014September 27, 2019Categories Equestrian, Skydive, Zip Line7 Comments on Reverse bucket list.

I have been feeling pretty uninspired as of late. Maybe it’s an early life crisis.  Recently I have worked towards furthering my education, but I realized I have hit many other milestones that I should be proud of. I decided to write a reverse bucket list. Instead of what I still need to accomplish, I…

In late August, I escaped for a lovely long weekend of backcountry camping. We stayed on crown land in the beautiful Philip Edward Island. The Canadian Shield in this area is unlike anything you will see in many other places. It was a great opportunity to unwind and relax. #backcountry #adventurebound
I just can't get enough of this handsome devil! 😊
Just another perfect cottage weekend! I tried my hand and SUP again and still continue to find it hard, especially when adding in the wind! But hey, I didn't fall in multiple time this weekend. 🌲💦🛶
Happy 4th birthday to this awesome guy! I've realized I've also had him for about 7 months now! Wow! He's done wonders to heal my heart after losing my mare in the fall. They are both so different, which is just perfect, as I can think of them each fondly. ♥️♥️
Just dreaming about this beautiful beach sunset outside of Puerto Vallarta. One of the places we have actually returned to a few times in the last few years. It's beautiful, the people are lovely and oh yeah we have some friends that work at the skydiving centre there! We were planning a trip back January/February 2021, but we shall see if that will happen or not. 🌅
Sometimes we forget about the amazing adventures we have in our own backyards! We took this awesome drone shot two new years ago (no snow in Canada was amazing) and we don't even have to go that far for this spot. Pretty lucky to be so close to these spaces.
