Seven-months later: Humber PR

It’s hard to believe its over. At the end of the journey it seems like a blink-of-an-eye, but there were many stressful days, almost all night-ers and cram sessions. We made it though! The class portion of Humber PR is done!


Client project. Done.

This program has been a whirlwind and is certainly not for the faint of heart. I keep thinking that undergrad was nothing compared to this! I did not make my life easier by horseback riding and skydiving all the way through the program, but it kept me sane.

I am so excited to get out into the PR world! I feel like I finally know something! The program, while busy, is incredibly comprehensive and I am excited for my internship that starts in just over a week! Among many assignments we were lucky enough to develop a communications plan for a non-profit and a complete a research project for another. We planned an event at the CBC and learned the value of social media in some unique ways (thanks PizzaPizza and TacoBell). I am not sure where this will lead, but I cannot wait for the journey.
